Back when the gyms were open I drank this juice before working out and it felt AMAZING!
It’s not much wonder – as this juice contains antioxidants, vitamin a, vitamin c and much more. Including potassium, which is essential for muscle contractions 🙂
FOR THE JUICE
- Oranges 2
- Beetroot 2
- Carrot 2
- Celery 1 stalk
Wash all produce
Chop both oranges in half
Squeeze oranges in a citrus squeezer (alternatively peel, and run them through your juicer)
Add all ingredients to juicer
Combine both juices
Pour through a strainer into a glass

What Its Good For
Orange juice is high in vitamin c, thiamine, folate, and potassium. Freshly squeezed orange juice is much healthier than store-bought. Because the store-bought orange juice is pasteurised and often irradiated to keep it fresh. Oranges are also rich in carotenoids (that’s what makes it orange), these are compounds that convert to vitamin a in the body
Beetroot has been shown in trials to lower blood pressure. It also helps to keep your blood clean and thanks to the compound betaine in beetroot, it supports your liver – helping prevent fatty liver.
Carrots are known for their eye health benefits (vitamin A) but they are also full of vitamin C, which is great for boosting your immunity.
