What Its Good For

Oranges

Orange juice is high in vitamin c, thiamine, folate, and potassium. Freshly squeezed orange juice is much healthier than store-bought. Because the store-bought orange juice is pasteurised and often irradiated to keep it fresh. Oranges are also rich in carotenoids (that’s what makes it orange), these are compounds that convert to vitamin a in the body

Beetroot

Beetroot has been shown in trials to lower blood pressure. It also helps to keep your blood clean and thanks to the compound betaine in beetroot, it supports your liver – helping prevent fatty liver.

Carrot

Carrots are known for their eye health benefits (vitamin A) but they are also full of vitamin C, which is great for boosting your immunity.

Celery

An excellent source of vitamin K, folate, potassium, and fibre

Equipment

HERE ARE THE ITEMS I USED IN THIS RECIPE

Stainless Steel Citrus Squeezer

This citrus squeezer is quick to juice all citrus fruits. Simply cut the lemon, lime, orange or grapefruit in half and squeeze.

Cold Press Juicer

Investing in a cold press masticating juicer is a great step. You’ll retain more of the nutrients – while maximizing the amount of juice from the produce.
