What It’s Good For

Celery

Celery is a great source of antioxidants, that protect your body against oxidative stress. Celery also reduces inflammation, its low on the Glycemic Index (so great for diabetics/ those with metabolic syndrome) and it’s rich in vitamins A, K and C. Celery also alkalizes the blood to help your body run smoothly.

Almonds

Almonds are nutritionally dense, especially if you eat them raw and soaked (to remove the phytic acid). A great food to consume daily. Antioxidant rich and a great source of vitamin E and magnesium.

Cucumber

Cucumbers are very low in calories, but very high in nutritional benefit. They’re an incredibly hydrating fruit (96% water) and this added hydration in your diet promotes regular bowel movements. Potentially very helpful for those with IBS.

Spirulina

Spirulina is more protein rich than other vegetables. It’s also rich in vitamin A, which has a wide range of health benefits including boosting the immune system and eye health. .

Spinach

Spinach is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C, folate and iron.
