Healthy high energy juice – an ideal post-workout drink, or for an afternoon boost of energy.

If you’re looking for a high energy drink (to crowd out those nasty energy juices) then this juice is for you.

It’s super easy to make!

No need for a juicer for this recipe – if you just have a blender, you can easily make this juice in seconds. But if you prefer it smooth – then you can go ahead and juice the pineapple in your juicer and mix with the coconut water.

PRO TIP: Prepare a store of peeled pineapples in your fridge ready to use. They’ll last 3-4 days in your fridge in an airtight container.

Ingredients

FOR THE PINEAPPLE SPA WATER

  • Pineapple ½
  • Coconut water 250ml

Preparation Method

Step 1

Cut peel off pineapple, and roughly dice it

Step 2

Place pineapple chunks and coconut water in your blender

Step 3

Pour into a large glass and enjoy!

Whats It Good For?

Pinapple

Pineapples are bursting with nutrition. They contain B vitamins, niacin, folate, vitamin c, iron, manganese, and much more. Pineapples help in recovery after hard exercise due to the bromelain content.

Coconut Water

Coconut water is a great source of hydration and has some antioxidant properties.

PRO TIP: If you don’t want to use coconut water. Then purified alkaline or spring water will do just fine.

Equipment

HERE ARE THE ITEMS I USED IN THIS RECIPE

Blender/ Nutribullet

A Nutribullet is essential for a healthy vegan kitchen. We’ve had ours for 5 years it’s still going strong.

Amazing value for money! And great for making sauces, soups and smoothies.

Strainer (optional)

If you want a smoother juice, then you may want to strain after blending.
