The Perfect Balance of Creamy & Crunchy

Crunchy, refreshing and delicious, a really great start to the day!  This is the king of clean eating for me. When food is fresh and nutritious as well as extremely tasty!

Ingredients

FOR THE VANILLA FRUIT CRUNCH

  • Sunflower seeds 2 tbsp
  • Apple 1
  • Pear 1
  • Lemon ½
  • Large vanilla pod ¼
  • Dates 2
  • Cinnamon ½ tsp
  • Coconut water/ spring water 250ml
  • Blanched almonds ¼ cup

Preparation Method

Step 1

Wash produce

Step 2

Core apples

Step 3

Run everything through your juicer

Step 4

Strain juice and pour into a large glass

What’s It Good For?

Sunflower Seeds

Don’t be fooled by the size of seeds. Sunflower seeds, like most seeds, are jam-packed with nutrition. Filled with antioxidants, and magnesium that help promote mental health and calmness.

Apple

Apples are hydrating (as they are 85% water). They help to fill you up, if you’re looking to loose weight, apples are a great addition to your diet. They are filled with fiber and energy to keep you fueled throughout the day.

Pear

There are 100s of varieties of pear. Pears are hydrating, made up of 83% water and easy on your tummy. There’s a good reason that pears are some of the first foods fed to babies.  They also contain polyphenols which are a type of antioxidant. 

Lemon

Lemons are soothing, cleansing and packed full of vitamin C, meaning they’re great for your immune system.

Vanilla

The key component of vanilla – vanillin – can reduce the rate of mutation in cells.

Dates are a powerhouse of nutrition, they provide vitamin b6, iron, copper, magnesium and potassium. As well as being filled with antioxidants that help your body cleanse out toxins. Most of all dates are a tasty treat. Medjool dates are the most delicious variety.
